           Indian Laptop Market is Led by Compaq and HP Brands, however, Lenovo and Acer are offering Very Hard Competition to it.  Dell has Joined the bandwagon recently.  LG, Toshiba, Fujitsu and Sony Have Great Top of the Line Products but they are Priced little on the higher side.

 

           Warranty Wise, What Feedback we get, LG and Sony Provide best after sales service.  Other Brands are Average.  After Warranty Period Expires, All Vendors Service Center’s Take Customer for a Ride.  We have seen Cases where Service Center illogically Make Huge Bills for Small and Negligible repairs undertaken.  Till Warranty Period is there it’s Okay, but what comes after that is nightmarish at times.

 

           For this Reason alone, if You do Okay with a Desktop, and considering buying a Laptop just for the hack of it, Go for a Desktop Only.  We Recommend it any time.  Desktops are Anytime Better than Laptops if Speed, Cost, After Sales, Upgradation, Flexibility is Concerned.  Laptops are Better when it comes to Mobility.  Generally, You Get Almost Double the Computing Power in a Desktop than What a Laptop offers for a Certain value ( Say Rs.25000).  Laptops Adapters and Batteries are Very Expensive and on an average You Change them Once a Year to Thrice in Two Years !!
